I think this is a political decision to try and keep Leigh Tory, Leigh people hate being part of Wigan, they are convinced they have been given the mucky end of the stick, with Wigan getting all of the money has they put it, but I think that is absolute rubbish, their man Lord Smith of Leigh effectively ran Wigan Metro from 1991 onwards until 2018, and Leigh if anything has got all of the money, wit Wigan getting the mucky end of the stick.

But even with Lexit, they will be struggling to keep Leigh Tory, because there are just too many Whupsies in Leigh, too many bitter Whupsies, it is the archetypal self pity city
