Tonker ......My son will improve, they accept young children writing phonetically as its important for them to learn the SOUNDS of the letters. The word Knife doesn't sound its K, this he will pick up as he goes along,. He hates writing because he is left handed and struggles to see what he has already written.I speak German, yet I can't write it correctly. I type to a german pal as I speak, she has no problem with it.
I never had a problem with Zoes messages when she joined this forum, yet she must have felt an outcast when she was pounced upon for writing in slang.People are more important than their writing skills.Its petty to judge ,I have the option to skip any messages I don't wish to read, so does everyone else. So why not agree to differ, skip any which aren't written by an English Master if it offends anyone, and leave folk alone.Its silly to put members off posting just because a few get a 'titty lip' about grammar.
