Tonker I didn't say it didn't matter, I just said it isn't as important in a forum . A forum is here so people can communicate,its not a regulation to type correctly.Schools accept young childrens work now when they write phonetically.My son struggles with writing , he hates it, yet is apparently very intelligent.He is only 7 , and will improve no doubt. I'm just happy seeing him try.There are members from all walks of life, and all ages in forums, the younger tend to write more internet slang than us middle aged ones.Its a breathe of fresh for me to read those posts. Rather they abreviate than refuse to post anyday.
English written correctly is important , but on a message board its insignificant.
I have a list of internet slang somewhere maybe I should post it, its just a bit of fun, as are these boards,so theres no need for anyone to berate another for writing incorrectly.
