It takes all sorts !?!
This sort of thing always irritates the life out of me , I don't care who writes what or in which way. My nephews use internet slang, so do I on my messengers. Sometimes in here too.
It doesn't matter , the important thing is people are communicating and thanks to the net, they come from all walks of life , which makes it all the more interesting.
Education is better, my 9 year old is doing homework lately which I was only covering in secondary school. If folk want to use slang, so what?! If their spelling is bad, so what?!
We don't speak the queens English in Wigan anyway, so why bother putting others down for their grammar.
A group I used to manage had a dyslexic boy in it, we didn't care if he made mistakes, we also had an adult man who was finally learning to read and write, thanks to a bit of understanding from the groups members he got his confidence up to communicate online .
So tell the English teachers who like to have a moan to find something worthwhile to moan about and leave others alone.
All I can say is there are some miserable gits out there, who think they are superior to everyone else.
