When we had the fuel protests a couple of years ago, we truckers had the government by the ball's, if we had carried it on for another few days the country would have come to a grinding halt,
This was the first time that the majority of the haulage community had stuck together and actually made a stand, that is until the spineless union top brass told all their members to stop boycotting the fuel depots and get back on the road, and that they would handle it from that point, yeah right,
I got 3 points and a hundred quid fine for obstruction during the protest's when I parked my artic across the side entrance to the fuel depot at ellsmere port, and if the call to unite came again I for one would answer the call, but not the union call, I dont believe in them
