My husband should have got home from work(in Runcorn)about 2.30pm. He finally arrived home at 6.45p.m. They had shut the Thelwall Viaduct and sent them through Warrington, only to find Warrington Roads blocked off by police because of a big fallen tree. Whilst back here, a big tree had been blown down at the Cherry Gardens Pub blocking traffic round there. The police ended up sending people round the roundabout the wrong way AND of course the whole length of Beech Hill Ave was yet again full, top to tail of almost stationary traffic. Not much change there then eh.!!!!
