Now who is hurling insults? If you must know I was a failure as an insurance salesman but it was very valuable experience despite the fact that it sent me broke. In all my years as a salesman I could never bring myself to deliberately mislead people and that is probably why I failed initially. For a long time my honesty and integrity served me well,so much so the my customers followed me to the various companies I worked for,but in the end it was my undoing because the last company I worked for were all for using much younger staff because they were easier to mould to their way of doing business and as they done had with others in my age group,found the excuse to dispense with my services.
As for the cricket,what can I say? while Australia has produced some fine players and had a very good run,they are finding it difficult to believe that they are not invincible but what is the saying,pride comes before a fall. By the way did you attend the civic reception for the England team?
