Thanks Keno! The weather's subsided right now. I had to get my husband dig me and the car out of the snow yesterday - it was an experience! When you see cars completed covered with snow due to the blizzards, it opens your eyes to the fact that no matter what we're able to fight, we can't fight mother nature When she sends us the weather, we just have to deal with it! Definitely brings you back down to earth. As for the comment made about Disneyland by another, i'm sure that your visits to the Phillipines are far from Disneyland and all it's materialistic values. If anything, it'd make you feel humble when you visit places like the Phillipines where you experience people working hard on the land instead of with the convenience that technology has given to us.
