You would be ready for a drink if you started at the Park hotel at Landgate going to Ashton. Next port of call the Bath Springs then a walk down with a slight diversion Garswood Hall Bowling Club back onto Wigan Road the Jubilee Club then into Ashton Four watering holes left out of tenRed Lion Cranberry Lodge Golden Ball Oddfellows Britannia Star all gone (plus the Pit Pony on Low bank Road)
