I always thought that the Pensions Scheme should be paid not on age but on your profession a person who has worked with his hands AKA construction should not have there retirement at the same age as someone who sits at a desk all day..

Most people on here are at the age when you had the final salary Pensions Scheme that has long gone today...
In years to come there is going to be a lot more poverty in the UK because people have not had the money to put away or a property to sell and fall back on and also take into consideration the low birth rate and dislike of immigration plus people living longer in the UK will all lead to less tax in the public purse unless you will increase Tax on the rich or salary's .... there is no more of i will move out of the UK were my pension will go further.....
