OK then, if we had not left the EU, there had not been a referendum, David Cameron had been in power until 2021 or even 2022, because the 'fixed term parliaments act' would still have been in force, but the general election of May 2020 would have had to have been postponed, because at that time, in the period leading up to that election, that was at the height of the pandemic, and the country was in lockdown.

So how would that timeline have made things 'better' in this country, than is the case 'now' ?
