You're right, Peter. Not that I'm against a rise in my pension but, because I still work, I've been on emergency tax since the last rise, so I'm getting a little bit taken from my already meagre wage, so I'll get more taken the next time.

I've worked straight for 58 years, so I reckon I've paid more than my fair share.
