Children in need has raised over £1billion since it start and this year alone £35.5 million . Wigan received £440.000 over 5 years ago according to 1st Mates link. I have said for years Charity is a BIG business and a lot of people are sat on a fortune and living the live of riley through so called charities.

I'm sure there will have been more given to other children's charities in Wigan over the years Peterp. When you consider the amount of towns in the uk with children's charities looking for donations 35 million isn't a lot, though most welcome
