Tom, I'm pretty much like you. As I still work I have to get up to go there, but the weekends are a killer for me, most especially when there's snow and ice, which I don't like driving in.

I'm not keen on Christmas any longer as well as it's become just another day for me, and I even stopped putting up my little tree, which I used to do on my birthday, two weeks before Christmas, as I no longer see the point. So, once that's out of the way, I look forward to seeing the crocuses and snowdrops peeping through the ground, maybe a bit of sunshine, and know that Spring is on the way.
