Whups

Judging by the local election results in Wigan where there was no change, it would appear the same criteria applies to those on the Labour side as well.

The only thing that surprised me was in spite of the massive swing against the Tories all over the country, Labour did not in Wigan increase its number of Councillors at a local level beyond it's present sixty four out of seventy five.

Judging by the increse in support for minority party and independant candidates, it would appear therfore that there is indeed a lot of discontentment with the Tories and rightly so, but not any real enthusism about voting for the alternative of Labour.

Just a personal observation!
