The Times (today) says US is alarmed that financial sanctions are sabotaged by the 'London Laundromat' Hundreds of Billions of the pelf in the hands of Russia's oligarchs now are locked into the UK economy. Especially high value property and real estate in and around London.

And The Mirror says that a quarter of Ministers in our current government are in receipt of moneys from Russia!

I guess that means we have been sold out by our own, before any difficulties begin.

The ordinary Russian people may suffer from sanctions.
The ordinary British person might suffer also.

But it seems that Russian oligarchs and English plutocrats will be well insulated from adverse effects.
