Ukraine is flirting with membership in NATO. To Russia that means the threat of European nukes on its borders. Would you want the Russians to put nukes in the Channel Islands? Would we want them to put nukes in Mexico?

Russia is reacting responsibly. Every leader needs to put his own country first. NATO should back off, permanently. Ukraine is a thoroughly corrupt country - on a par with my own country at the moment - and needs to solve its own problems. We do not need to risk the lives of British or American soldiers.
