My sentiments exactly, and last week on the BBC News Channel, I watched the Welsh Debate Program, and the 'Abolish the Welsh Assembly Party' candidate said exactly that about Plaid Cymru, he said that Wales and Scotland were 'sleepwalking' into Independence, and if that happened, and Wales tried to keep the standard of living which they have as members of the Yoonion, then Wales would end up 'bankrupt' his words not mine.

"people do work and pay tax in Scotland!!! And they can choose how to spend it, if it's giving nurses a pay rise or what ever"

Well if the nurses were given a pay rise funded by what the Scots pay in tax, then they would probably get a very big pay cut, because the Scottish government actually spend money they get from the rest of the UK, they are net 'beneficiaries' of money from the UK , not contributors, and that is the main argument for them not becoming independent, because they would not be able to afford it.

Nicola and the SNP think that they could afford it.

BUT

It is one thing persuading the UK government to agree to another referendum, but it maybe another thing winning it though, in the form of the people of Scotland voting 'Yes' to independence.
