That's the average number of leaves on a mature maple tree.

I was just looking at P-A-D LINK lots of raking to do lol

I've got lots of raking to do surrounded by eight mature maple trees, I have a couple of spare rakes if anyone fancies catching the next flight and giving me a hand

Two weeks before, the trees were in glorious autumn colour, throughout the summer they are a wonderful shade to sit under while drinking cold beer and stoking the BBQ .

In spring time I love seeing the new leaf buds erupting into action heralding the end of winter.

No complaints really, the raking gets me out in the fresh air and good exercise

My seven month old granddaughter is fascinated by the leaves falling from the trees.

At my last house there where about a dozen trees about 100yds away and sometimes after it had been windy you opened the front door and the leaves used to cascade into the vestibule

Don't mind clearing them from the ground.

At my age, clearing them from the gutters becomes a greater challenge with each passing year.

I do hope we get at least one day sans wind, rain and freeze in early December, when they mostly all have dropped, so I can clear before winter rains.

A couple of space facts. There are many more Stars, than grains of sand on Earth. The Sun is a small Star, but can hold 1.3 million Earths inside it,and the biggest known Star can hold 9.3 billion Suns inside it,mind boggling.

Now I'm counting snowflakes instead of leaves

It will soon be shovel and snowblow the white stuff away and possibly another climb on the roof to clear the snow off winter

Take care with that knee if you are going up on the roof.

Make sure you have kneeling protection.

It is an occupational hazard pertaining to roofers.
