I see the WARRIORS got over the line against owd enemy ,but still concerned about the standard of late it's plain to see they are not firing on all fronts yets , yes they were a few short as where the saints there were many more saints player's missing that us that's why i say it's a bit worrying coming to the Bread & Butter end of season. But as they say A WIN IS A WIN!
I also believe Wigan have a GEM in the makeing of young JACK FARRIMOND i thought he played brilliantly well done JACK .

Farrimond has a good future I think. It was a good win and Wigan were fired up after last week's score. To nil Sts was great and humiliating for them

As for the saints match i do agree with you it was good to get the 2 points a win is always a good , and as you say against the "OWD ENEMY" is even more gratifying , but Kath let's not get too cocky for as i said it was a very weaker side the saints turned out compared to us, and i belief say several weeks back the Warriors would have shoved 50 if not more against them but i feel with those 3 matches in just over a week has taken it's toll ,the up coming match against HULL K.R will undoubtly decide who finishes's top one good thing it is at home on 6th SEPTEMBER .Before that we have HULL this Sunday then Catalans away 32/08/24 then on 6th Hull KR , IF we don't get any more injuries or suspension's then i predict a top finish , bye for now KATH !

i thought we where much more energetic than of late,nilling saints is always good.but we do need to up the ante.

Thanks for that i guess it's par for the course ,but the discipline seems to be going down the plug hole at the moment ,i believe that Matty Peet should really tighten that up with them , for it could prove costly!

I agree with you that the discipline needs to be improved, but at the same time one or two of the decisions by the MRP on 'offences' committed by Wigan players have made things look worse!

LOOK OWD CODGER you do not need to preach to me for i am converted to the facts that they are totally and utterly against WIGAN WARRIORS .
I have stated on here many times before that the knobs over in Yorkshire are commited to try at every angle to keep Wigan in check , for what happened in the 80s /90 s going to wembley all those times and winning the championship regular they were fed up to the back teeth and since have tried everything to hold us back , and i will say something now which will ruffle some feathers and that is ""WITHOUT WIGAN RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB "" THERE WOULD BE NO RUGBY LEAGUE """FOR ME FACT!!

What I do not understand is why players of the Reserve team are never considered for selection to the First team.

What is the point of having a Reserve Team?

The players you have mentioned are players who would be registered as members of the Under 18 Academy, team but would also play in Reserve games on occasions.

The players, I am on about are players like Beardsworth, Jeffery, Jones, Sumner etc who have gone over 18, but kept on to play in the Reserve team, but not given First team contracts.

I remember my dad taking me to central park in mid 50's early 60's he would take me to watch the ""A TEAM " for there was a league back then and belive it or not you would get reasonable attendance's too on a saturday afternoon , as you comment why is the emphasisof the "A" team not given more consideration???? I wonder why?
