I saw the money Thompson was reputedly on and it looked outside the Wigan wage scheme. Would be a good signing. Better luck than with Burgess I would hope.

One or two folk on here keep saying that the Wigan forwards aren't big enough........ But in the last two games they have blitzed both the Saints and Wires packs haven't they?

Agree with you about Warrington, but I reserve judgement on St Helens as since returning from Australia, they have not been playing well, but last night they returned to something like their best form without a number of their better players.

I watched anoter cracker last night Saints v Warrington i think that last weeks match took the wind out of the WIRES .They just could not get going the Saints were well up on them from the get go . OK the wiremen had a few missing ,but i belive the saints are getting back to something of their normal game. I would like to say what my Father Used to tell me and that was ::
Whenever these clubs play against Wigan these teams put so much into trying to win ,it takes a hell of a lot out of them ,and i too seem to recall there being something in that remark he told me years ago , i still miss him to this day for i loved going to the matches with him .
