Super League: Small Potatoes...
Not so Super after all? And in the current climate, small potatoes.
The only entertaining game played over the weekend was the re-run of the infamous 'Battle Of Fartown' played in 1873 or something...
Well, it looked like it.
Two cavemen teams fighting a grudge match after a night on the ale...
Proper battlin'.

You think so?
Let them go. We have bigger teams waiting in the wings.
They won't be missed.

Pity the big teams waiting doesn't include Wolves.....

Backed by Fosun and coached by one of the finest coaches around?

" Backed by Fosun with the finest coach around "....then why are you stuck in the bottom half of the league....you're dreaming again Jarvo....

Two of the 'big' teams have won the European Cup, and another 'big' team have reached the final.
Only Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea have won the European Cup out of the Shyster Six. The other three have not.
There is much to look forward to not having the six in the PL - for one, we don't have to put up with Dancing Egyptian...week in week out.
Nuno? To be fair it is only his third season in the PL, so give him time.
The point of the thread is comparing Super League to the PL.
Forgive me: but you cannot do that can you?
I forgot...Small potatoes.

what is the point of comparing football to rugby league? it's 2 different sports. football is about overpaid men skipping around and falling over crying if they getso much as a tap. RL is a fast and tough sport and more entertaining by a mile. Comparing the 2 is like comparing me to jarvo. we have absolutely nothing in common at all
Replied: 22nd May 2021 at 08:44
You have Kath You both love watching RL
Replied: 22nd May 2021 at 10:02
handsomeminer - we both watch it but I support the sport and our local team whereas Jarvo just carries on moaning about it all

Do you go to the games, Kath?

Usual mediocre season. Twelve wins out of thirty eight games. Manager gone. Not be long before the faithful are called to prayer five times a day from that once proud ground.
