Hi i am trying to trace if anyone knows or knew the butcher's who operated in FROG LANE 136 IN the 1960s onwards the brother's also had a yard at back of the shop where they boned the meat out for the weeks needs they also had 2 mobile butchers shop's with rounds as far as Worsley Hall /Norley Hall /Marsh Green/ Pem /Worsley Mesnes , The othe mobile shop went and served FROG LANE AREA / WOODHOUSE LANE /BEECH HILL/STANDISH LOWER GROUND /SHEVINGTON/APPLY BRIDGE /WRIGHTINGTON AMONG OTHER PLACES /
COLIN LIVED IN TUNNLY LANE ,WRIGHTINGTON / BRIAN LIVED IN EMERALD ST ,OFF GIDLOW LANE TOP END .THE SHOP ON FROG LANE USED TO BE THEIR FATHERS FOR MANY ,MANY YEARS BEFORE THAT , TODAY THE SHOP IS A NEW COUNCIL TYPE HOUSE JUST PAST WHAT USED TO BE ""THE GUARDIANS INN PUB """ POLLY WAS THE LANDLADY IN THE 60S ,,I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF ANYONE ANYWHERE KNEW OF THEM . I would dearly love to find out about them ,,,,,,,,,
