Started by: CLOGGER (3)

Hi all, recently found this site after doing research into my family history for over 30 years, the majority of my Gaskell family come from Upholland between the years 1790 and 1939, and I was wondering if any one has any pictures they would like to share with me of mostly SCHOOL LANE, and PARLIAMENT STREET, as I have found atleast half a dozen of my family are from there, 12 Parliament Street was GASKELL BROS CLOGGERS for many years, 6 Parliament Street was at one time a family home, there are a couple of others in Parliament st, Margaret Gaskell was a confectioner of cakes and bread, another was a Miliners shop,....I have seen the Gaskell Bros photo in the WIGANWORLD ALBUM ( which I already have) its help with the others I need, and the same for SCHOOL LANE.....any pics old and new would help....thanking you all in advance, if I can help anyone with anything , just ask...cheers all...regards ps, does anyone know if a transcribed list of memorials exist for ST. THOMAS THE MARTYR'S graveyard, and if so where, thanks...

As you will probably know Online Parish Clerks have records from 1620 to 1882
but you will find later burials on Find A Grave searchable by name
