I have just started researching my family tree and would be grateful if anyone else has details about my parents Benjamin Holleron born 1935 (mother Margaret Wiggins) or Jean Thomas born 1930 (mother Elsie Boardman. All born in Wigan.

Hi Winnie, thank you so much for giving up your time to look these things up for me. I was born in Taylor Street in 1949 but on the other side of the road, I think it was number 23. As you have written Isabella lived at number 32 with her brother Arthur and that is how I remember them both while growing up there. My grandma Elsie did work at Taylor's factory which was at the end of the street and my Grandad worked at the old Corporation bus depot in Pottery Road I think it was. I have been searching several free sites and have got back to the mid 1800s with censuses etc. I find it all very fascinating. Thank you again.
