P.C. Orrel

Started by: truckerdave (2337)

Does any one remember P.C Frank Orrel, who used to pedal his bicycle on his beat around Woodhouse lane/Beech hill area back in the 60's, if ever I was doing anything wrong I'd look around and there he would be pedaling towards me, it was as though he had a crystal ball on his handlebars,
I got a clout from his leather gloves one day for playing on the railway lines near the Limey pond,
But never told my Dad about my clout, or I'd have got another

Oh yes art, I can certainly vouch for that, I had quite a few good hiding's when I was growing up,all deserved though
My Dad taught me all about respect, and I respected him till the day he died
May he rest in Peace forever
