latics season ticket holders

does any one else feel that whilst they understand that the Tics need to get the supporters in, they have paid their money up front in continued support, only to see bargain prices for the rest of the season. What are Wigan Athletic doing for season ticket holders? Loyal Supporters. Won't stop us whatever but feeling a bit miffed.

You paid your money up front because you thought you were on to a good thing and you were going to save money, which is a risk you take when you get a season ticket. It still only works out at about £19 a game which is good value for the Premiership.

The club are giving the Season Ticket Holders some kind of Loyalty Bonus? I am a season ticket holder but I paid my money, and was happy about at the price. It's just like someone who buys a TV and then a couple of weeks later find it has been reduced. If reducing the prices helps to fill the ground I'm all for it.

I think a good way of repaying the loyal supporters, would be to leave it until next season and after they have fixed the prices, depending on which division they are in,give the ones with season tickets for this season an extra discount. That way it will reward the true fans.

A large number of people cannot afford season tickets, in this instance its they who have chipped out. But had the Latics got good crowds they would have been the losers. I myself watch the other team the Warriors and have never been able to afford a season ticket,so what I do is I pick the games I want to see and watch the telly when they are on. Some people will say that I am not a good supporter,
well if Maurice& dave don't like this, all I can say is take it off the telly and I will come down to the JJB stadium.By subscribing to sky sports I am still paying towards the warriors and also the Latics who I dont watch. How many millions does Dave and Maurice get from sky for the two teams? I sincerly wish the Latics better luck for the remainder of this season and hope they stay in the premiership, and hope the Warriors have a better season.
p.s.when the Latics are on the telly the pubs and clubs who have the relevent channels are packed and that also goes for the Warriors to a lesser extent.

Marken, I would agree with your point and your idea for the season ticket holders next season. Lets just see what happens. In the meantime come on Latics lets show em what we're really made of.
