Our Wigan

Just reading the Mail on line showing so many photos of our beloved Wigan, brings a tear to my eye. So sad.

Yes linma it is very sad I think a lot of stores are struggling in other towns as well, to be honest you could see the decline when Morrisons closed in galleries it effected buses taxis and market hall, very sad, thanks for link gaffer.

Thanks from me too gaffer. I only visit Wigan now when I go to the dentist every four months. . Do you think it looks bad to me because of that?

No linma it's a fact, shops are closing all the time as people don't visit anymore they can't park anywhere in town centre and if they find somewhere it's costly.

Standishgate is nearer to the shops yet parking is cheaper here than any where else around Wigan. You would have though other places would have been cheaper because it takes longer to get to the shops
