Did you make yours by phone or on line, did you get the day & date by e-mail or do they just give it you to print off when applying, must be a few on here that would like to know---Tumtingle

I understood that you had to wait until you got a letter from your GP to have the vaccine.

If and when we are due for the jab both of us get done at the same time, I dont fancy having to queue twice outside waiting for our turn.

My Mum got a call from her GP's surgery offering her the vaccine and they made the appointment for her for Tuesday. They said Mum would be given her second appointment when she got her first vaccine at Robin Park Leisure Centre by the staff there.

Warnings are going out to inform people that the covid vaccine is provided FREE OF CHARGE, apparently some people have been asked by scammers for bank details etc saying vaccines need to be paid for. Please be aware

The Missus and me both got a letter from the NHS today to book an appointment, I expected it would be from our GPs, before I book my appointment and then for the Wife, does anyone know whether we can book the same place and similar times.

Mum had her vaccine. It was straightforward, no queues outside and very well run inside. Mum's GP will be in contact about her 2nd vaccine which will take place at Robin Park in about 10-11 weeks time

A customer, in his eighties and in Westhoughton, told me today, he'd had a letter off the NHS and rang the number given.
Like Dougie, he was offered a vaccination appointment for Thursday ...... in Birmingham.

He said, "Well, I thought, 'that can't be right', had a walk down to the surgery (it's 200 yards from his house) and they said, oh, don't be going to Birmingham because we're doing them here. They gave me an appointment for next Monday morning"!

Maniacs!

Judging by the numbers of WW members who have already had their vaccinations the forum should be renamed The Wiganworld Golden Oldies Forum.

Mortarmillbill the young un's dont know what WW is about. They use things like Facebook Instagram Twitter etc and are led by overpaid influencers who tell them all sorts of drivel and they believe it
I class myself has a young WW member and I am 66

Dougie only a few years ago I went to an AGM at the bowling club and on paper the club had over 800 members. Nicky pointed out that there were only 40 members under the age of 50I think now it is a better %age

Here in Staffordshire, I had a letter from the NHS in December last year, as regards booking an appointment for an inoculation, I replied stating that I was disabled and housebound. Received confirmation that I would be getting a home visit. Two nurses from my Doctors practice turned up 3 days ago and gave me my first dose of vaccine, will get the second dose in 10 to 12 weeks' time.
