Thousands of extra people useing the service who have not payed a penny into the service. Most of them no intension of looking for a job.just want cash in hand jobs.Going home for two to three months knowing there Benefits will be in cash machine when they return.I know they should inform DHSS.theres no chance of them doing that.Ps no workers no DHSS.

Your comments are falling on deaf ears as many who come on here and in Wigan as a whole are on benefits and not paying anythinto the system, especially now that they have eveything provided by some of the extra people.

Great point, albion.

Also lets not forget the brexit manifest promise of Johnson saying they would build 40 new hospitals and also take control of our own borders and " get brexit done"

They only people that have been "done" are the people who voted for it

They have delivered neither, and, some people believed them

Albions topic is about people not paying into the system and has nothing to do with Boris Johnson, 40 new hospitalls which if built would have made the the NHS deficit even higher, border controls or even Brexit.

I didn't misread his post, I've just double checked. ^^^^^

Now, back to facts.

What happened to Johnson's pre Brexit's manifesto of £350m PER WEEK pledge to the NHS ?

Owd codge, Wigan as a whole are on benefits ?? I'm not neither is my wife and she's had a couple of bad times lately, I would say, the majority of Wiganers of my age are self supporting and are proud of it,
But then again, Tonker says, I'm not a Wiganer,,,,

The same as what happen with all promises made by all politicians at election time when when trying to get into power.

Nothing and thats a fact!

Cheshirecat made reference to a promise made by Boris Johnson who at the time was leader of the Tory party!

If that is not a reference to the Tory party, than you have a strange way of understanding.

I merely said that it was a fact that all politicians of all parties make promises they will never keep, especially when going into an election.

Perhaps a pinch of snuff would help!

When all the redundances that Wes Streeting is looking for kick in, then there will be more money to spend on front line services, and a lot more people claiming benefits.

Wrong again, codger.

I made a reference to a person who promised to fund the NHS should brexit get done. Obviously, he didn't deliver his promises. Whether or, not he was a member of the tory party, is irrelevent. He just happened to be the leader of the failed party.

Have you forgotten the fact that a large chunk of the the tory mp's at the time (40% ) wanted to remain in the EU?

It's pointless for ANY leader of ANY political party to promise to fund anything, as they are unable to do so.
More to the point, they KNOW that they are unable to do so. It follows that promises as such are made on false pretences.
