Big Day

Started by: Big Harold (79)

Yes, it's a very big day today because today is the day Donald Trump became the 47 President of the United States.
47 is my lucky number because I was told that I was born that year, on the 1st of the 9th, which is an easy date to remember because 1/9/47.
I bet there are not many people with easy to remember birthdays like.

The trial of a suspended Labour councillor who is accused of encouraging violence in last summer’s riots has been delayed for seven months.

Ricky Jones, 57, is charged with encouraging violent disorder over a speech he made to a crowd in Walthamstow on August 7 last year

Footage of the incident went viral online, as Jones spoke to the crowd about “disgusting Nazi fascists“ and said “we need to cut their throats and get rid of them“.

My way of thinking it can only happen when people are born on the 1st of September.

Really??? You certainly have a strange way of thinking. Are you sure you weren't born in April.

September 1, 1947 was a Monday, and it was observed as National Nutrition Week, National Suicide Prevention Month, and National Chicken Month. It was also World Letter Writing Day and Organ Donation Week.

No, I was the youngest, some of the other kids were nearly a year older than me.

I like what he said about the Gulf of Mexico, changing it to the Gulf of America.
