CHARITIES are just big business and take billions off joe public and make a lot of people rich. Millions of pounds donated by people gets spent on advertising to so called generate more millions for the charities Money gets donated for UK charities and gets spent abroad ,The Life boat and the Donkey Charities are but two who do this. One of the biggest form of charity is our government who send billions abroad for overseas development. I was told years ago if you wanted to help a hospital don't donate any cash which could be spent on anything including admin but coordinate with the hospital ward and buy equipment direct for a ward then all of the money went where it should go
