Rio, you are right and I expected them putting booze up because it benefits the tax and promotes better health and. in the long term helps out the NHS But, how does a penny off help anyone?
Don't forget every decision they make involves, research ,meetings, documentation and several high paid MP's to wok on it and claiming expenses paid for by the tax payer, To put it bluntly, They are taking the pizz,,,

Penny off a pint ? more like a 40p rise. Landlords having to pay higher national insurance contributions rise in minimum wage and business rates hasn't helped them. Cheers Tom
