THIEVERY

Started by: mollie m (8257)

Isn’t it ridiculous? My local Tesco Express has been hit twice this month alone and what did they steal? Cigs, booze? Nope.

A year or so ago a young thief nicked four boxes of washing powder who, apparently, didn’t wash his clothes. I reckon he nicked them to cut with cocaine or some other drug.

Earlier this month a lad and lass nicked two gammon steaks, a full tray of Lurpak butter and a bottle of pop.

On Saturday, just after I left, a lad in a ski mask brandishing a knife robbed them of a box of chocolates, a bunch of flowers and a bottle of Lambrini.

S’not funny. Well, yes it is, but they terrified the female staff members.

Police were notified on all occasions and shown CCTV but, no arrests could be made as their pictures weren’t sufficiently clear enough to identify them so, when I went in tonight, they’ve had new screens installed, obviously to protect the staff, none of whom as yet been injured, thank goodness. Why can’t they have an emergency button to lock the door in such a situation to contain the culprits until the Police arrives? Anyone else know of any local thievery/robbery lately?

When I had my off-licences, a Scouser came into my Orrell shop at a minute to ten, just before it shut.
He pulled a hand-gun, held it towards the shop worker's face and shouted ....... wait for it ............... "Eeeeyyyrr., Givvus Forty Regal"?

We had 20 years of nothing but agro with those shops.

How awful that must have been. I'd have asked for 60 just to make it worth my while.

Joking apart, that experience could have affected the worker for life.

What would you suggest makes me a Scouser, Whups, when I'm not from Liverpool ?

If you say "you lived in Merseyside", well, yes, I did live in Merseyside for 10 years. But, how long have you lived in Merseyside for, Whups? 50 years? My God! that makes you 5 times as Scouse as I am!! Eyyyrrrrrrr ...... G'wed Laaaaa!

What does any of that have to do with the topic?

Mollie there is a Tesco just down the road from me and, they too have been robbed recently, These criminals must do their homework and know the chances of, getting in and out without getting caught, There is never any security on the door and the Staff are all yung un's and because they are on low pay, They're not going to play the hero,

Mollie, Whups has accused me of being a Scouser, which is coming from Liverpool.
Now, seeing as the title of this thread is "THIEVERY", I'm sure you can see the relevance?
