I was tinkering in my shed today

About time for a break, I told myself and, before i went I chucked some mealworms on the floor for my little feathered friends so they too can enjoy a tasty treat while I was away,
I did't expect Alfred Hitchcock

It looks like he's saying: "Come on lads, din-dins at Tom's.

Worse thing you can do is put food on decking next thing you will have mice I have a bird table and like Tom when ever I put food out it starts with one starling then a large group of them and they can clear the table in seconds.. Occasionally a couple of Sparrows and Blackbirds get into the mix and there is still a Robin which shows up for any thing that is left

I never thought about it before, but when the mothers have their babies, I wonder if it hurts when giving birth with all those razor sharp needles on their backs.
Or, do the needles grow after birth?

They are born like a new born bird, no feathers, a lil' pink baby and the mum feeds them from the underneath where there are no prickles on Mum, They grow up fast and soon Mum shows them how to hunt but not for long, many die young

Thanks, Tom. Sad that they die young. I hope they don't become an endangered species.
