43% of the residents of Harehills were born outside of the UK according to a piece in today’s Times. It added that there were 5,000 Romanians and a large number of Roma gypsies. The trouble started when social services removed 5 children from a Roma family.

So According to the Times 57% were born inside the U.K.

Hareshill used to be a nice area of Leeds until the newcomers like in many other towns and cities created enclaves and dragged districts down to the level of the places from where they have and still coming from.

Some in Wigan which is hardly affected by immmigration on the scale it is in other towns and cities need to to travel around the country like I have done in the course of a hobby and they would be shocked at the way many of the newcomers live and make no effort to embrace our way of life!

And after years of getting rid of slums and ghettos, we now have some of the newcomers creating them!
