Today I learned that, If you leave the yellow strip tied to your green bin, The Bin men will leave you a packet of the disposable bags you are meant to put food in,



The yellow strip is in the packet od liners at the back..

You can the a green bag aswell

Its the first time i've done it, Our bins go out tomorrow Thursday so, I'll let you know,,,,

Not all the rolls of green bags have this yellow band so I just tie a green bag to the bin and the bin men just throw a new roll onto my drive,

It worked, they left a roll of green waste bin liners, I can't remember when the green bin waste food bags came into play but, from that time to this we bought the bags because we did't know they came in the rates charges,
Whats my chance of a rebate I wonder ??
