Ooh, that is a beautiful piece of machinery. I love it, but I'd never get on one. What year is that?
Take care when riding.

When it falls over don't come asking me for help.
Why do we always say 'She' when referring to a mechanical object.?

Nice looking m/c looks like a bike to go cruising on more than a town bike. Must weight a fair bit and would need a good balance when stop/start in traffic.Once out on the open roads-motorways then it looks like a very comfortable ride

If you've earned it, Good on ya and enjoy it...

A few years ago I saw a Honda Goldwing outside a charity shop priced up at £250. It looked quite old, but in reasonable condition. Perhaps needed work on the engine because it was so cheap, or they just wanted shut of it.
About a year ago, I mentioned it to Alan Bott, owner of Pem Tyres, and he said if he'd known about it he would have snapped it up.

I've never like those because of the size. like a couch on wheels and also, There was always a massive CLUNK as you put it in gear, I got a honda CB750 in 1978 and I found that a big clumsy beast, the bike I had much fun on was a 1970 Triumph Bonneville. I toured europe on that ,,Ah, the fun I had on that,
thats me with the arrow pointing at me

Tom
Was that front drum brake on your Triumph Bonneville, of a twin leading shoo design ?

he,s already admitted it tom further up this blog by saying shatty is contributing to his pastime by paying his tax contributions . if anyone is workshy on here it,s the likes of him . he got sacked & never got another job & claiming everything in the book . how else can he fund bikes like these ? .
Replied: 11th Jun 2024 at 23:55
If you look on-line you can purchase one of these bikes for in between £10000-£12000 which is less than some second hand cars

My initial thought LG was ‘sacked’ but it seems there is not much chance of that happening!
