Chocolate

TV news says anticipated 50% increase in price of chox due to reduced cocoa crop following drought in W Africa.

I try only to eat chox at Christmas and Easter, perhaps I should get my Easter stock when shopping tomorrow.

Had noticed prices creeping up on Amazon, as I keep a watch for Niederegger Marzipan, which is very expensive, but I am usually lucky enough to find some offered at a discount. (Once or twice a year, anyway, which is sufficient for my twice a year consumption)

I'm perhaps one of the few women on the planet that doesn't like chocolate - not milk chocolate anyway.

Every now and then I can manage just one dark choccy, and that will do me for about six months or so.

When I was young I found a packet of cocoa powder in the cupboard, and thought it was the drink cocoa, and mixed it with some warm milk and when I tasted it, it was bitter and horrible tasting, the reason was that it was a cooking ingredient.
