A pound a bunch in M&S. The hedgerows are sprouting buds and I’m switching my lights on later. Spring is on the way.

Three weeks ago we went to Whitby for three days. We arrived in brilliant sunshine which stayed until we left. Freezing cold and windy but we were well wrapped up. On leaving on the Tuesday it wasn’t until we got to Pickering that everything changed from green to white and was snowing heavily. When we got to the bottom of Sutton Bank it was green again.

I love seeing the daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses popping their heads up after a long sleep during the winter months. I haven't seen any yet, but I probably will next week on my way to work.

I don't know why, but it's the one thing that really lifts my spirits and makes me smile. Despite being born in December, I hate the gloomy winter, and knowing spring is on the way makes me feel so much happier.

Just moved all my Tulip bulb pots from back of the car port. I used to have set colours in each pot, I took them all out of the pots last Summer and revamped the soil.
Knocked them all off the table they were drying on so now we will have multicoloured pots instead.
They are all showing well though

Davey, the multi-colours will look beautiful. Will you be able to take a photo when they're grown to show us?

I used to love gardening, but sadly it's too much for me now.
