If they think the food is bad give them the raw materials and let them cook their own meals and if the place is not clean enough give them cleaning equipment and let them clean it themselves. If they are not happy with this send them back over the channel and get shut of them. They have been spoiled with 4/5 star hotels

All I see is yet another proactive media post engineered to enrage a certain section of the public and a certain section of the public allowing themselves to become enraged by it.

So, the food makes them sick! What's meant is that it isn't the sort of food they eat in Africa. Why would they expect it would? Are they more used to haut cuisine delicacies?

As Cheshirecat says, we have people who are homeless and live on the streets who would be more than grateful to have warm shelter, food and health care, most especially at this time of year when the weather is down to -1C, but no, it would seem that our own unfortunates don't matter as much as the asylum seekers.

Don't get me wrong. I feel for those who have to escape their own countries to be safer, but don't bite the hand that's feeding you. Have your freedom. Make your own communities, but don't ask for any more help from the generosity of the people of this country.

One said he wanted to come to a safe country......how many did he go through to get here.....They should be glad they've got a roof over their heads and being fed, and will probably have heating on for them in this weather. We've plenty of veterans on the streets who would welcome what half these moaning shites have. Should have turned the boats around mid channel.

What does the ungrateful, non contributing, scrounging, lugging, ungrateful species want? An air ambulance maybe!
Wait till he goes to A&E, then he will moan!

If he and any others from Africa, Middle East or Asia etc are not happy to be getting free food and accommodation while they are awaiting being vetted, they can always ask for a free ferry ticket to take them back to Calais or any other European port of their choice.

But they will not as other Euopean countries do not have the same enticements that attract them to our country!
