Do you have questions about how to ensure your wishes for your future care are heard? Are you a carer for someone with a life-limiting illness?

The event aims to answer questions you may have about ensuring your final wishes or those of a loved one are respected. There will also be sessions on starting difficult conversations and a chance to hear from people who have made formal plans for their future care.


All welcome, no need to book and parking is free.

This year, Dying Matters Awareness Week is from 2nd - 6th May, and its focus is on being in a good place when you die.

Sorry, it’s very last minute, but I’ve just learned of this event which seems to be open to the public:

Grave Talk Cafe, Wed 4th May, 2pm - 3pm at Wigan Infirmary Chapel

‘Grave Talk’ is a cafe space to talk about death, dying and funerals.

The Grave Talk Cafe was held at Leigh Infirmary yesterday, but Rev Anne doesn’t say if there’ll be any further happening this week.
