Those email scams are the work of amateurs

When you get an email from a mystery source telling you that a distant and very rich relative who shares your surname has died in a plane crash in a far away African country and it includes a (fake) newspaper article detailing said crash together with another (fake) newspaper article including an obituary for your supposed dead relative. and a copy of a family tree that is about 50% accurate........THEN you know you are dealing with the professionals
