"Andrew Marr is to leave the BBC after 21 years of crap interviewing"
Hallelujah
And bloody good riddance to him too.

I would have thought him, right up your street Tommy Tee, a very articulated presenter and does't seem to favour any side, just tells whats going on,
perhaps he's too Northern ?
Replied: 19th Nov 2021 at 22:05
He is Scottish, from Glasgow no less, and he should have stopped there, and can't even do Scottish properly, at least Nicola sounds like a jock.

Laura Kuenssberg, is getting the top job LINK
Replied: 28th Mar 2022 at 15:49
Now she is a strange one.
Asks an incisive question of politicians
but then head nodding in assent, as if pumping oil, whilst the responder produces their evasive answer and deflects to promote their own agenda rather than respond to the question.
And, unlike Andrew Neil, she will go with that deflection and not attempt to pin down the respondent to the original point.

Actually rio, she's a mate of Boris. I accept what you say, but I disagree. Kissy, kissy.
Replied: 28th Mar 2022 at 21:00
She does ask the penetrating questions.
The trouble is, she then colludes with the respondent's constructions to evade answering them.
If you observe the body language, it is as if she is saying:
I have to ask that because it is my job. Now lets get it out of the way, and inform the listeners as per your agenda

According to Scottish friends of mine, she is also a little Dictator and her party, the SNP are only in power due to giving out 'perks' like free prescriptions. A party which also wants to break up the union of the United Kingdom.
fossil,
You must be joking as these days, it is more left than right.
You only have to watch 'Question Time' to see how the panel and audience are now more left than right than what it used to be in the days of Robin Day when it was a more cross section of the general public.
And I have come to the conclusion that local MP Lisa Nandy must now have a contract with the BBC judging by the number of regular appearances on the programme.

With regards to shall i call it the " Fiona Bruce show " ?? Why because she is the damn worst chairperson ever to host a chat show. She interfere's far too much and if she does not like the question or the replies she moves on , here is another example of a prima donna from the beeb paying FAR,FAR too much on these people ,she has too many shows ,what with the News, Antique's Road Show Question Time etc Far too much for my liking . As for the other regular NANDY PANDY why can't she just do something constructive for this once great town of our's WIGAN , instead of cosying up to he chum Starmmer ....GB

Lisa Nandy is only the MP for Wigan because it is a safe Labour seat and was imposed on the constituency with the Wigan Labour Party having no say in her selection.
She has always spent more time in London than what she has ever spent in Wigan and is only interested in her own career and not the wishes of Wigan people who vote for her.
And in last weeks Question Time, she was ignorant in the way she constantly interrupted other speakers with Fiona Bruce even allowing her to have a rant to at one point to get her point across.
Not to mention the decline in the Labour majority under Lisa Nandy from what it was in the past
On Brexit, she has constantly supported remaining in the EU in spite of the fact that the majority of the people in her constituency voted to come out.
Even suggested that when we came out, it could have grave implications for the future of the Heinz Plant in Wigan which it has not.
Said that that people in Wigan would not be able to get to their work in the south side of Manchester city centre because of trains being switched to Victoria from Piccadilly. If she had done her homework, she would have found out that some trains were diverted because of the opening of the Ordsall Cord which allows trains from West Yorkshire to access both Victoria and Piccadilly for quicker access to Manchester Airport, but because Piccadilly only has two platforms for though trains and was already oversubscribed with both passenger and freight services, some local services from Bolton and Wigan had to be switched to Victoria.
If some people like Lisa Nandy as their MP, then they are easily pleased, but many my Wife and I are not and I say that has someone who has voted Labour in every election until she was imposed on the constituency.
As I have said before, we are not all sheep in Wigan!

Sorry, but she is not in the opinion of my Wife and I, the best person to be the MP for Wigan and the reason we do not vote for her.
Not a patch on Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle and indeed Roger Stott who was the best Labour MP, we ever had in the Wigan Constituency.

I am on about the way the Labour vote in Wigan has declined over recent years and not just the last General Election.
You would be surprised how many people when becoming better off, no longer considered themselves to be Labour.
It would appear that Wigan is now no different!

Replied: 3rd Apr 2022 at 11:20
I am not a Tory voter, and I am not a Labour voter, I am a floating voter, as is my democratic right, and as such I don't think that I am as yoo say that I am in the least way 'brainwashed' and I always vote, even in a Labour donkey town like Wigan, I always exercise my democratic right to vote, and I vote for the party, which I think is the best party to run the country, on the day of the election.
I don't cast my vote for a party, because me great grandad voted for that party, because my great grandad could have been a bloody idiot, and anyone who casts their vote, for purely historical reasons, is in my opinion, most definitely "BRAINWASHED"
Replied: 3rd Apr 2022 at 11:57
The last general election was really a 'one off' election, in that traditional Labour voters who had voted for Brexit, they voted Tory to get Brexit done, and for no other reason than that.
Roger Stott, once had a Labour majority in Wigan of over 23,000
In 2010 Lisa Nandy had a Labour majority of 10,000 plus
In 2015 Lisa Nandy had a majority of 14,000 plus
In 2017 Lisa Nandy had a majority of 16,000 plus
In 2019 Lisa Nandy had a majority of 6000 plus
So if you ignore the 2019 result, because of the Brexit factor, yoo can see that Lisa Nandy, has over the years increased her majority in Wigan

Well if the Tories don't pull their socks up, and bring out some decent policies, and get rid of the silly policies, and stop the stupid and unnecessary gaffes they have been making, I will not be floating towards the Tories at the next general election.

I have never been overly political but have always voted for the Labour Party because they are the party of the working class.
In the past I could tolerate the tories,in fact some were decent people.
This lot ,Johnson’s hand picked crew of loyal cronies who support a proven cheat and liar, whatever he does, are beyond contempt.
This country is becoming a laughing stock because they are losing credibility in the eyes of the rest of the world.
The “we are leading the world” rhetoric is tiresome and totally untrue and rarely gives the NHS any credit for rolling out the vaccine programme! The only thing they lead the world in is bulls#%t!

Well newspapers have reported that a quarter of current ministers in this Government have been in receipt of money from Russia. And many other prominent figures also.
They are very litigious, so there seems to be reluctance to name them.
If only we had some kind of wiki leaks type of organisation.
If only we had some kind of Julian Assange character.
