BOOSTER OR NOT?

IT has been brought to my attention this day , that the 2 CO-VID INJECTIONS we have had earlier this year are after 6 months become useless ...this has been told to a lady who went to a doctor's surgery !
That after 6 months the injections do absolutely nothing !!!!
IF there is a shred of truth in this then my QUESTION is this is it worthwhile taking up the BOOSTER injection ???? IF like this lady has been told that after the 6 months it's not in one's system anymore .......One beg's the question was it all worth it ????? I sincerely would like some comment's on this matter .........GB

Did your friend have an antibody test to check ?

The effectiveness of the Pfizer and Astra Zeneca vaccines diminishes after about six months. They diminish effectiveness against infection but not protection from serious disease. The booster puts them back to square one. You should have it. No practice nurse would have made the comment attributed to her.
