loyalty cards(supermarkets)

Started by: PeterP (11335)

Are loyalty cards worth having They are all going down the line of instead of giving money when you have points to giving you vouchers tailored to your shopping. I am thinking of spending my Nectar points then scrapping all my loyalty cards. Reading today about Sainsburys dropping their double up points and customers are not happy. Don't forget you have to spend £1000 to get £5 back

Eyup... I am a member of the company shop.. Lancotes Lane.. St Helens...A shop which flogs excess from asda.. Tesco... Sainsbury's etc etc.. Instead of it going into landfill... Criteria for membership is on their website... But mainly... Emergency services serving and retired... Prison service... NHS workforce and a few others... A few good bargains to be had for those who qualify.... And now and again you can take others with you.... Have a look .

I hate loyalty cards of any description

And that Company Store in St Helens is a bit of a drag from Wigan, it is in Sutton LINK

I suppose yoo Tom could call in there on your way back from one of your Sankey Valley rides, but it is going to be a bugger cycling with all that tin stuff on your back

I dunno Sledge, misinformation is very confusing, I admit to laughing at jokes, You say you don't, So if a joke is funny and you suppress your humorous emotions, you are harming yourself, self harm is a problem too,
Its all too complex to go into and I'm just a ex-plumber, go seek help elsewhere,

Laughing at jokes is funny Tom, laughing at certain people and making them the joke simply because of what they are….. well that’s something else.

What do you say?

I actually agree with that mate, so I don't do it, if a joke is funny I laugh and enjoy it, If its not funny I don't and think, ok, I don't like it but if some do, don't spoil their fun, Like I don't like smoking but, I don't get sanctimonious about smokers,
I'm a good lad me Sledge, and you know it,

BB, if I WANTED to qualify, I'd be in there! I have this 'thing' for 'qualifying'!
But, there are SOME places I wouldn't frequent if THEY paid ME. And one of them places is Costco!
It makes me cringe!

As for this Company Shop, in Sutton, I told my eldest lad about it and he's told his Mrs. to join, as she goes round giving injections to owd folk, like Tomplum, so she'll qualify.

All them Pakistani Shop Owners willbe in there, like flies round the proverbial, getting stuff cheap to re-sell (under t'radar, dust'see)!
