Christmas

Started by: linma (2911)

We are told of the many shortages at Christmas. I live just off the A59 Preston to Liverpool and the number of hgv’s travelling along the road is unbelievable so, if the supermarkets have empty shelves, what are the hgv’s carrying? In B&M Bargains yesterday you could buy all your decorations, chocolates and beer and wine the shelves were groaning. It’s September for goodness sake. Our buses are on the verge of going on strike because of the lack of drivers. In Chorley bins with garden waste are not being emptied, lack of drivers. Moan over.

Instead of listening to the crap from the BBC and Sky News etc, just go and have a walk around the supermarkets, and other shops, and make your own mind up if there are a lot of shortages, Whupsy was two items light in his Iceland shopping basket, so on that basis he wants us to rejoin the EU

Personally I am not convinced that such a course of action would be beneficial to this country

why dont you open your eyes 1stroke & maybe you shud watch the news to keep up with wots going on . when you continually get items missing it adds up to considerably more than 2 items doesnt it . grow up 1stroke & stop skirting arount the real issue , BREXIT & it,s wot YOU voted for .

Did you watch ITV news at Ten last night Tommy?
Tesco want a temporary easing of the rules to make it easier to get drivers from abroad to lessen the problem. They fear people will panic buy. Up to now the government are having none of it
