I think it maybe something to do with us now not being part of the EU

Could it be because our politicians like to be "holier than thou" just as they are generous with our "Overseas aid"-makes them feel good!
But it "pisses off" many people!

unbelievable, as if we have not got enough foreigners thinking its a free for all.

We are part of the 'International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia' and it should be remembered that it was British troops, sent in under the NATO umbrella which ended the wars in the former Yugoslavia.

That is not to be confused with the UN blue helmeted troops, which had been there in the early 1990s and were powerless to stop the genocide, which was going on there.

This was all done under the auspices of the United Nations, of which we are a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
