Pemberton glass do fit replacement dg units. They buy the dg units from a first class manufacturer, System3 in Denton.

I've had a friend round only this morning, replacing seven units at my house. Very reasonable price (unbeatable, actually, seeing as how I couldn't buy them myself at the price he charged me!)
He's done a smashing job too. He was here four hours, no rush, job done right.

Jim Aspinall, 07866 173 853 (tell him t'blinds mon sent you!)

Tonker, does Jim have a website/Facepage I can mooch at?

I need a dozen conservatory roof DG units replacing, they've all decided to fail (steamed up) at around the same time. Quite weird really, we had an A/C heating system installed last year, maybe that's something to do with it. We had a further six fail last year too which we had replaced (at great expense!).

I don't think he has. Jim is an old school tradesman. He's a glass mon and he gets a lot of work, all on recommendation.
I don't recommend anybody who isn't good at what they do!

Don, would you not consider a solid roof?

I do a lot of conservatories where the people have had either a solid roof or a boarded ceiling.

Of course, everybody has different tastes and what some like, others wouldn't entertain!

Thanks Tonker but Mrs Don likes to look at the stars/birds/sky/planes etc.

I would have a solid roof tomorrow but anything for an easy life!

I might just give your chap a call, I also need a couple of windows on a rental property. I spotted a van in our street recently liveried as "Robbie The Window Doctor" and he seems to have some decent online reviews but recommendations are always the best form of advertising.

Thanks Tonker.

When he was at mine this morning, he got called into a neighbours house to measure a window of three units and one side unit.

It's due to the lockdown. People have been sat there, locked in, watching telly, and 'the wife', looking round, as they do, has spotted a bit of misting in the window.
"I want new ones"!
That's why he's busy. Same for us.
"These blinds are a bit tatty" "I fancy a change"!

Only for the 'lockdown' they wouldn't have noticed!

Quote off Dated 1st May, He would pull anyone else up for advertising, but I have to thank him as I've used the man he recommended,
----Jim Aspinall, 07866 173 853 (tell him t'blinds mon sent you!) ----

All I can say told hem the blind man gave me your number , Jimmy came round measured up gave me a quote for what seemed a big job to me, replace 2 patio doors with toughened glass and one 8 x 4 leaded window to match the rest of house with 22 Dimond pattern on glass.
Booked him didn't get any other quote, job done today
