Big Brother

Do you think that the comments on the programme are, racist, or just bitchy/girly talk.?

and do you think it warrants all this media hype?
" Questions in the houses " I ask you!!
there must be more important things for the rulers to talk about.

I think channel 4 will be loving all the hype. I don't think anything racist has been said from what I've seen of the clips, I call my welsh pal a sheep sh***er he doesn't think I am racist
They are stuck in there 24/7, the odd thing they seem to have pounced on amounting to maybe 2 minutes........daft if you ask me.We have high taxes, lads fighting a war , and a lot of laws need seeing to, I can't ebelive its been brought up in the House of Parliament, what are we paying those jokers for?!

I watch Big Bro because I find it interesting watching the interaction between groups of people in the same way that I enjoy reading the posts on this site and the way that individuals interact and react to the subjects put forward for discussion.
Regarding the original question I can not see much that amounts to racism
My personal opinion is that Shilpa is a person who has a great deal of self esteem
and she can present as controlling and bossy at times and the younger mambers of the house are bitchy about her because of her attitude I dont think it would matter what nationality she was ,she is different
to them and thats the reason she is being targetted.
It is definitely an extreme reaction from the media and politicians

There is a definate class divide going on. I don't believe its racist. Jealousy is more of the issue here.

I have read about the racist issue on Big Brother and according to the reports, all I can say is "What racism?" Although Shilpa is showing up the others by keeping calm, I just think its a "Bitchfest" between the younger "ladies". Meeow.

big brother????heres me thinking he was the town hall pink belly, that was forever trying to screw me for more dosh. they wanted a tenner to take away a small single bed??i said i would take it myself. i was informed i would need a "permit" to take it to the tip at INCE.i got the said permit, and took the bed to the tip. i would have still been there waiting for the man, but decided to dump it anyway. i noticed several cars dump houshold rubish without any big bro present, so why did i need a permit???

Maybe some people watch it just to 'tune out' from the realities of life such as interest rate rises, personal problems, global conflicts? Just as people like to watch Coron.St, Eastenders, Home & Away etc. It's not real life, it's an escape, like watching a live movie.

The news and current affairs are great but sometimes that can be a bit heavy going for some people all of the time.

I don't know about in the UK but where I live the BB 'winner' can win $1,000,000 which is roughly half a million pounds!!!
Not bad for 10 weeks 'work' for a nobody, some people would do just about ANYTHING for that kind of money. Would you??

Ozzielass, I could find a lot better things to do or watch to 'tune out' and NO I would draw the line at doing ANYTHING for a million bucks.
Kathy the reason she was targeted is very clear. Look at her she's beautiful, intellegent and sophisticated now look at the ugly bitch that targeted her, I rest my case
